Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council in Hyderabad has taken action against several fake doctors and Rural Medical Practitioners (RMPs) in Siddipet Town.
An official statement revealed that Dr. Dhandam Lalaiah Kumar, Registrar of TGMC, and Dr. K. Mahesh Kumar, Chairman of the Council, filed complaints leading to the registration of cases. These cases fall under the NMC and TSMPR Acts and target unqualified practitioners within the jurisdiction of Siddipet I Town Police Station.
The following individuals and centers faced legal actions: Prasad First Aid Center in Gandhi Nagar, Siddipet – KS Prasad; Bhargavi First Aid Center near Koti Lingala Temple, Indira Nagar, Siddipet – Murali; Raja Rajeshwari First Aid Center in Gandhi Nagar, Siddipet – A Sudhakar Reddy; Sathvika Clinic near NGO’s Colony, Siddipet – D Nagaraju; and Vitthoba Varalakshmi First Aid Center near Kotilingala Temple, Indira Nagar, Siddipet – Vitthoba.
Dr. Srinivas, Vice Chairman of TGMC, emphasized the risks posed by these unqualified practitioners. He stressed that giving medical treatment without proper credentials can be life-threatening. Rural Medical Practitioners are not legally recognized as doctors and lack the necessary qualifications to practice medicine.
