Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has denied all allegations regarding the Group-1 exam results. The Commission said the accusations are false and made to damage its reputation.

According to a statement released on Monday, TGPSC said some people with personal interests are spreading these rumors. It claimed that certain private coaching centers are behind the false information, trying to mislead candidates and question the fairness of the recruitment process.

TGPSC explained that the answer sheets were checked by expert evaluators who followed all rules carefully. The Commission also said that it is normal for some candidates to get the same marks, especially in exams with fewer marks per question.

The Commission also addressed negative comments about the topper from the Scheduled Tribe category. It called these comments harmful and discriminatory.

Some people also raised concerns about many women being selected from a single exam center. TGPSC clarified that a special center was set up at Koti Women’s College to make it easier for female candidates. About 25% of all women who took the exam did so at this center, and many of those selected happened to write their exam there.

TGPSC ended its statement by saying it is fully committed to a fair and transparent recruitment process. It advised candidates not to believe false stories.
