The Minister for Energy, Jagadish Reddy, spoke about CM KCR’s efforts to eliminate economic inequality through the Dalit Bandhu scheme. They both attended the Malamahanadu Atmiya Sammelan in Suryapet and had community meals. During the event, the Minister praised Dr BR Ambedkar for his dream of building a casteless society and his ambition for education for all.
The government led by CM KCR established over a thousand gurukulas in eight and a half years to provide corporate education to poor and deprived sections. The Minister credited CM KCR for implementing Ambedkar thought of the system.
In addition to the Minister and CM KCR, the Municipal chairperson, PerumandAnnapoornamma, and several other leaders participated in the AthmeeyaSammelan.
