In Hyderabad, the SOT of Balanagar Zone Team and Medchal police worked together to arrest three people – Gollu Kumaraswamy, Kodi Ajay Kumar, and Swamy Ganesh. They were caught buying Hashish oil from Thuni in Andhra Pradesh and selling it in Hyderabad. The police found 2.2 litres of Hashish oil with them.
A case was filed under Crime No 286/2024 at Medchal police station under Sections 20 (II) (B) (C) read with Sec 8 of NDPS Act. The seized items included Hashish oil, three mobile phones, and a Pulsar Bike, all worth Rs 12,30,000.
Ajay Kumar and Swamy Ganesh went to Thuni on their Pulsar Bike to get the contraband from Nagu. They then brought it to Hyderabad and met with Kumaraswamy at Gandimaisamma area before heading to Medchal. While they were on their bike heading to Medchal, the police conducting vehicle checks stopped and arrested them.
