The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad will host its global alumni meet on December 22 and 23. The meet will be inaugurated by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
The event will include an industry-academic conclave, talk on entrepreneurship, panel discussion on conventional careers, cultural activities, sports, and recreational activities. The university currently has over 16,000 registered alumni.
During the meet, the Department of Mechanical Engineering seminar hall, funded by the alumni of the 1971-1975 batch, will be launched. Additionally, the BTech ECE 1994-1998 part-time batch students have donated 17 advanced computers to the cyber security laboratory, and the USA Chapter alumni have sponsored air conditioners for the ladies’ hostel reading hall.
