Hyderabad: The Hyderabad city traffic police have announced a traffic advisory due to the Telangana Legislative Council elections. These elections, from the Hyderabad Local Authorities Constituency, will take place at the GHMC Head Office on Wednesday. The vote counting is scheduled for Friday.
To manage traffic during this time, certain roads will be closed. On both April 23 and April 25, from 6 am to 6 pm, vehicles will not be allowed to travel from GHMC T Junction to BRKR Bhavan Junction.
Police have stated that the road at GHMC T Junction will be closed to regular traffic. Vehicles coming from Liberty and Basheerbagh and heading towards Telugu Thalli Junction via the BRKR lane will be diverted at GHMC T Junction. These vehicles must instead go towards the Ambedkar Statue.
The traffic police are asking commuters to take note of these changes and cooperate to ensure smooth traffic flow.
