    Traffic Restrictions Imposed in Hyderabad for Independence Day Celebrations at Golconda Fort

    Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions will be in place from 7 am to 12 noon on August 15 for the Independence Day celebrations at Rani Mahal Lawns, Golconda Fort. The road from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be closed to general vehicular traffic during this time. However, those with A (Gold), A (Pink), and B (Blue) car passes are allowed to enter and attend the celebrations, including the flag hoisting ceremony, from 7 am to 11 am.

    Invitees with A (Gold), A (Pink), and B (Blue) car passes from Secunderabad, Banjara Hills, Masab Tank, and Mehdipatnam are advised to take the route via RethiBowli and Nanal Nagar Junctions. Then, they should turn left towards Balika Bhavan, Langar House Flyover, Tippu Khan Bridge, Ramdevguda Junction, Makai Darwaza, and Golconda Fort gate for alighting.

    “A (Gold)” car pass holders should park their vehicles on the main road in front of the fort’s main gate. “A (Pink)” car pass holders should park their vehicles at Golconda bus stop, which is 50 meters away from the fort’s main gate. “B (Blue)” car pass holders should park their vehicles at the Football/Boys ground by taking a right turn near Golconda bus stop.

    “C (Green)” car pass holders coming from Seven Tombs, Banjara Darwaza, inside traffic signal should take an immediate left turn to Owaisi Ground. On the other hand, “C” car pass holders coming from Langar House under flyover via FatheDarwaza should turn right at Bada Bazar towards GHMC Island and Owaisi Ground. They should park their vehicles at Owaisi/GHMC Play Ground, which is 500 meters away from the main gate of Golconda Fort.
