Traffic rules set during Milad-un-Nabi processions in Hyderabad

Hyderabad police have set up traffic controls throughout the city due to the Milad-un-Nabi procession. These restrictions are in place until 8 PM today. Affected areas include Falaknuma, Charminar, Medina Junction, Usman Ganj, MJ Market Junction, and Nampally T Junction. Drivers should plan for different routes during this time.

Authorities have also warned people in the procession not to attempt dangerous bike stunts. The Archaeological Survey of India announced that tourist sites in the Old City will remain closed for the event.

Additionally, Muslim religious leaders stated that celebrations planned for the 5th of this month are moved to today, following the government’s instructions due to the Ganesh immersion festivities.
