During a meeting at Rail Nilayam on train operation safety, he warned against using shortcuts to avoid accidents.
He assessed various safety measures implemented across the zone to ensure trains run smoothly and all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, are available.
Sanjay Kumar examined crew working hours and directed officials to study and plan for adequate rest periods for on-duty crews.
Chetna Nand Singh, Senior Deputy General Manager, SCR, presented on the Vigilance Awareness Campaign, active from August 18 to November 17. The campaign focuses on asset management and digital progress. Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR, attended the meeting, along with heads of departments and divisional managers from Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Nanded Divisions, who joined via video conference.
