Services at RTA offices in Hyderabad have stopped due to a change in the state code from ‘TS’ to ‘TG’. The software needs to be upgraded, causing delays for motorists. It may take two weeks to fix the issue.

Many applications for transport services are pending at RTA offices, causing difficulties for applicants. Services like LLR, driving license, vehicle registration, and renewals are affected. The slow software upgrade has halted all services, with applicants unable to receive OTPs or make payments.

Applicants like Ravi Yadav are frustrated by the online application process for an International driving license. The software upgrade delay has caused glitches, making it challenging for applicants to complete transactions.

Each RTA office receives over 600 service applications daily, with thousands pending. Transport officials assure that the software upgrade will be completed soon to accommodate the new state code changes.

Lack of communication from the department regarding the new state code and software upgrade has caused confusion among motorists. The department should create awareness about the changes to avoid further issues.
