Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy honored former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary at the DCC office in Mahabubnagar. He remembered the sacrifices made by Gandhi for the country during the event marking the 33rd anniversary of his passing.
Srinivas Reddy praised Rajiv Gandhi for his many contributions to India’s progress. He highlighted Gandhi’s achievements such as reducing the voting age from 25 to 18, which engaged the youth in the nation’s development. The MLA also commended the former PM for his efforts in advancing information and communication technology in the country.
During the event, Srinivas Reddy emphasized Gandhi’s visionary leadership in modernizing India. He mentioned Gandhi’s role in improving telecommunications, railways, and aviation sectors. The event was attended by various important figures, including TPCC general secretary Vinod Kumar and Municipal Chairman Peer Mohammed Sadiq.
In addition to them, Municipal Vice Chairman Anand Goud, DCC General Secretary Abubakar, and others were also present at the event to pay their respects to Rajiv Gandhi.
