To improve rail connectivity and reduce travel time for passengers, the Indian Railways has introduced three Vande Bharat express trains in Telangana. These trains have become popular among travelers. In addition to this, the South Central Railways has implemented various initiatives for the benefit of rail passengers in Telangana.
The first Vande Bharat Express train, running from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam, was launched at the beginning of the year as a Sankranti gift to the two Telugu States. It covers a distance of 699 km in eight hours and 30 minutes, making it the fastest train on the route. Within three months, another Vande Bharat Express was introduced, connecting Hyderabad with Tirupati. This train reduced travel time between the two cities by about three-and-a-half hours, benefiting pilgrims. It covers a distance of 660 km in eight hours and 30 minutes. On September 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Kacheguda-Yeswantpur Vande Bharat Express, further strengthening connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka.
These Vande Bharat express trains offer a modern and comfortable travel experience with high-speed capabilities and world-class facilities. They have significantly reduced travel time between cities, especially in Telangana. The introduction of these trains has been well-received by passengers, and they have quickly become a preferred choice for travel.
Overall, these initiatives by the Indian Railways and the South Central Railways have greatly improved rail connectivity and convenience for passengers in Telangana.
