    TS Weather | Hyderabad: The onset of monsoon winds is causing a significant impact in the state. Several regions are experiencing heavy rainfall as a result of these monsoon winds. Starting from this week, the Hyderabad Meteorological Center has predicted widespread thunderstorms and showers accompanied by strong winds.

    In the past 24 hours, Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts have witnessed heavy rainfall. The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has issued a statement stating that there is a possibility of continuous rainfall in these districts. Within the last 24 hours, Ramayampet in Medak district received 4 cm of rainfall, Jafergadh in Jagtial district received 4 cm of rainfall, Sangem in Warangal district received 4 cm of rainfall, Rayakal in Sangareddy district, Madhira in Khammam district, and Venkatapuram in Mulugu district recorded 3 cm of rainfall.

    The heavy showers have led to flooding in some low-lying areas. The authorities have been alerted and necessary precautions are being taken to mitigate any potential damage caused by the rains. The public has also been advised to stay indoors and avoid venturing out unnecessarily.
