The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has changed the dates for the TS EAPCET 2024 and TS ICET exams because of the Lok Sabha election. The TS EAPCET will now take place from May 7 to 11, with the agriculture and pharmacy tests on May 7 and 8, and the engineering test from May 9 to 11.

Originally, the EAPCET was supposed to be held from May 9 to 12, which would have clashed with the election date of May 13. To avoid this overlap, the exam dates were revised. The TS ICET, for MBA and MCA admissions, will now be held on June 5 and 6 instead of June 4 and 5.

The entrance tests will be conducted in two sessions each day, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm. JNTUH officials mentioned that over 215,000 applications have been received so far, with most applying for engineering programs.

The exam centres have increased their capacity from 25,000 to 35,000 to accommodate the growing number of students. The deadline for submitting applications without a late fee is April 6 for the EAPCET and April 30 for the ICET.
