Unseasonal rains are falling in the Telugu states. While these showers have brought some relief from the intense heat, they have also caused serious problems for farmers, who are seeing damage to their crops. In cities, roads are waterlogged, making it difficult for people to travel.

The Meteorological Department has announced that Hyderabad could see heavy rain on Tuesday, April 8. Moderate to heavy showers are expected in several areas of the city. The rain may also be accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and lightning.
