    Hyderabad: A V Ranganath is the new Commissioner for GHMC’s Enforcement, Vigilance & Disaster Management. He recently did a surprise inspection of important locations in the City. Ranganath directed officials to make sure rainwater drains properly.

    Due to the rainy season, he told officials to quickly clean the 140 water logging points. He visited different places in the Madhapur area on Saturday. Ranganath checked the catch pits and manholes to see the work being done.

    He asked officials to clear all silt and garbage within two days. This will help prevent problems for pedestrians and drivers during heavy rainfall.
