US Ambassador to India visits Old City’s Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad

The US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, visited the Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad’s Old City. He shared his positive experience on Twitter, thanking Faiz Khan for arranging the visit. The palace has a rich history as the residence and seat of power for the Nizams of Hyderabad State from 1720 to 1948. Today, it serves as a museum. Garcetti was previously the Mayor of Los Angeles and was sworn in as the US Ambassador to India in March. During his visit, he enjoyed a delicious meal and had a wonderful conversation at the iconic palace.
