The Animal Husbandry Department recently carried out a livestock census in Uyyalawada Municipality, located in Nagarkurnool Mandal.

Veterinary officials and staff visited homes in the area, collecting information about farmers and their animals. This included details about cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, and poultry. All the data was recorded using the Bharat Pashudhan app.

Farmers were reminded that it is important to register both their personal details and information about their livestock.
