Senior BJP leader Vijaya Shanti accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao of prioritizing revenue over people’s welfare. She spoke at a protest against unemployment organized by the BJP in Sangareddy. Shanti criticized the KCR government’s reckless behavior, which she said has led to 30 lakh unemployed people in the state. She also accused KCR of having a cruel thought process and questioned his sudden wealth.

Shanti expressed her disappointment with the unfair and false case against BJP state president Bandi Sanjay, who was put in jail. She alleged that during the recent by-elections, each voter in Munugode was given Rs 5000 and a liquor bottle. Shanti also questioned the cost of building the Secretariat, which increased to Rs 1600 crore from an earlier estimation of Rs 400 crore.
