Hyderabad: Minister Vivek Venkatswamy has accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of spreading false information about the Congress government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He claimed that even after the Chief Minister’s visit to Pashamylaram, BRS working president K T Rama Rao and his social media team falsely stated that the Chief Minister did not visit.

During a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, the Minister highlighted that Revanth Reddy was present at the site soon after the incident. He then criticized the “cold-hearted” former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for not visiting Kondagattu after a 2018 bus accident that killed 64 people.

The Minister expressed his displeasure over K T Rama Rao’s tweet claiming the Chief Minister did not attend the accident scene, despite him being there. Vivek Venkatswamy announced that the cabinet would discuss an action report on July 10, reviewing the implementation of decisions from previous meetings. He also mentioned plans to introduce a law for gig workers, aiming to protect their rights, with the possibility of presenting it in the Assembly.
