Wanaparthy: The District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Srinivasulu, along with the CCS team, carried out surprise inspections on Wednesday. They visited PMP (Private Medical Practitioners) and RMP (Registered Medical Practitioners), as well as several hospitals in the area.
During the checks, the DMHO reminded everyone that PMP and RMP doctors are only allowed to give first-aid treatment. If they go beyond this limit, their clinics or facilities could be shut down.
As part of the inspections, Sai Balaji Hospital was told to renew its licence. One hospital was closed for violations, and another was given a warning.
The inspection team included Deputy DMHO B. Srinivasulu, CCS CI Ravipal, SI Jayanna, and ASI Tirupathi Reddy.
