Wanaparthy District Collector Tejas Nandalal Pawar held a meeting at the collectorate to discuss preparations for the upcoming elections. He emphasized the need to educate people about the voter registration process and address changes before the deadline of October 31. Pawar also instructed officials to make arrangements for people with disabilities and elderly individuals to vote from their homes.

One important aspect highlighted by the Collector was the strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct. Any violations should be met with appropriate actions. Additionally, the use of plastic in electoral propaganda materials should be avoided. Any person found carrying more than Rs 50,000 in cash without proper evidence should have their money confiscated, and it will only be released by the treasury once proper proof is provided.
