Welfare programmes flourished during KCR’s nine-year reign: A golden era

The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR, has been praised for implementing many welfare programmes during his nine-year tenure. The state government has allocated over Rs. 50,000 crore per year for these initiatives, which have provided financial security and boosted the self-esteem of underprivileged people. Farmers have also received assistance to address their economic difficulties.

Telangana’s welfare initiatives have received national recognition for their effectiveness. The government has allocated almost Rs. 5 lakh crore for various schemes, including Aasra pensions. The Dalit Bandhu scheme has been introduced to uplift SC communities and restore their social respect and economic dignity. Beneficiaries receive a non-repayable grant of Rs. 10 lakh without bank linkage or collateral. Eligible artisans can also receive financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh to enhance their livelihoods.
