TSRTC MD Sajjanar has addressed the issue of more women passengers using express buses. He noticed that women who are traveling short distances tend to choose express buses, which causes inconvenience for those traveling to distant areas. In response, MD Sajjanar has asked women traveling short distances to use village light buses instead and cooperate with the staff.
MD Sajjanar mentioned that some women have been pressuring the staff to stop the buses in the middle instead of at the designated stops. This has caused longer travel times. He appealed to women passengers to prioritize those traveling to distant areas and follow the permitted bus stops.
Moving forward, express buses will only stop at the designated stages.
