A woman drove her car onto the railway tracks near Shankarpally at Kodangal Gate on Thursday.
Railway workers noticed the white car and attempted to stop it. The woman appeared to be intoxicated and initially did not halt. Local residents eventually stopped the vehicle and alerted the police.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrived and took the woman into custody. The car, which lacked a number plate, was removed from the tracks and taken to the police station.
This incident caused delays for trains on the Shankarpally–Hyderabad route.
Police continue to investigate the matter.
