A worker died and two others were seriously injured when a machine carrying concrete mixture collapsed at a cement factory in Suryapet district on Tuesday. The incident happened at a factory in Mellacheruvu village while the workers were trying to move the concrete mixture from the ground floor to construct a slab on the sixth floor. The machine got stuck on the fourth floor and as workers were trying to fix it, it suddenly collapsed. This resulted in the death of one worker and injuries to two others.
The injured workers have been taken to a hospital, and rescue operations are currently ongoing at the factory. The police official mentioned that there were initial reports of people being trapped, but they cannot confirm this until the equipment is removed from the area.
