Young Man Missing After Hussain Sagar Fire Accident
Ajay, a young man from Nagaram, has gone missing after a fire accident involving two boats at Hussain Sagar Lake on Sunday night.
His family reported him missing to the police on Monday morning and asked for a search operation to find him. In response, authorities began a search effort in the lake using two rescue teams. More teams may be brought in if needed.
Ajay’s friends, who were with him during the incident, are safe.
The fire started when firecrackers were being set off during the ‘Bharat Mata Maha Aarti’ event at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road.
At the time of the accident, there were 15 people on the boats. All of them managed to escape without injuries. However, the fire quickly spread from one boat to the other, severely damaging both vessels.
The search for Ajay is ongoing. Authorities are working to understand more about how the accident occurred.
