In Hyderabad, a tragic incident occurred in Rajendranagar where a young man and woman overdosed on drugs at an apartment. The man, Ahmad, from the old city area of Kalapathar, passed away, while the woman from Kurnool district fell unconscious. Both had purchased drugs the previous night and consumed them in their room at Ken Varat Apartments in Shivampally.
Reports suggest they bought the drugs near Niloufer Café in Hyderabad. Tests confirmed both had drugs in their system. The woman is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. Police have registered a case and are investigating the source of the drugs.
On Thursday morning, police seized a significant quantity of drugs in Rajendranagar. These were being transported from Bangalore to Hyderabad, leading to the arrest of four individuals. The investigation aims to uncover the entire network involved in the drug supply.
