YouTuber in Hyderabad faces charges for insulting Hindu gods

Hyderabad: A legal case has been filed against YouTuber Anvesh for allegedly making offensive remarks about Hindu deities. This incident was reported on Tuesday, December 30.

Karate Kalyani, an actress and BJP leader, submitted a complaint to the Panjagutta police station. She accused Anvesh, also known as Prapancha Yatrikudu, of disrespecting Hindu gods on social media platforms.

Following her complaint, police registered a case under sections 352 (intentional insult to provoke a breach of peace) and 351 (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as informed to Siasat.com.

Additionally, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) lodged a separate complaint against Anvesh at the Gopalapatnam police station in Visakhapatnam for similar comments.
