Hyderabad Hosts 'ZIRO ON TOUR' Music and Culture Festival

Hyderabad buzzed with energy as the “ZIRO ON TOUR” festival brought the colors and rhythms of Arunachal Pradesh to the city. Held on February 1st and 2nd at the historic Taramati Baradari, this two-day event celebrated a unique blend of North East India’s traditions and Dakhni music styles.

The festival featured a variety of talented performers, including Hyderabad’s own singer-songwriter, Chinmaya Nanda. Known for his soulful blues-inspired music, Chinmaya showcased his talent on stage, representing the city’s vibrant indie music scene. He has previously performed at renowned events like Junxion Unplugged and IKEA Sunset Jams, curated by IMP Social to spotlight local indie artists.

Beyond his performances, Chinmaya is also a music producer at Radio Mirchi 98.3 and has released six original tracks. He is now preparing to launch a seven-track studio album, further cementing his place in the music industry.

“ZIRO ON TOUR” also brought together a diverse lineup of artists, including Ram Miryala, Chowrastha, Nawab Gang, Taba Chake, and Rabbi Shergill. Their performances created a dynamic and cross-cultural musical experience, delighting audiences with a mix of styles and traditions.

This festival highlighted the richness of India’s cultural heritage, blending sounds from different regions and offering a platform for indie artists to shine.
