Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) is changing the starting and ending stations for some trains. Ten weekly special trains will now start and end at Tiruchanur instead of Tirupati. This change is necessary for better operations.
The new schedule will begin gradually from October 9, 2025. Trains traveling between Jalna, Charlapalli, Secunderabad, Nanded, and Tiruchanur will be affected.
While the main terminal times will change, the stops along the way will stay the same. The first train to follow this new plan is the Secunderabad–Tiruchanur Special (Train No. 07009/07010) on October 9. Other trains will follow through mid-October.
Officials say this shift will make train management smoother and improve on-time performance at the busy Tirupati terminal. Passengers should check the new arrival and departure times at Tiruchanur before traveling.
