The MCC rules are now in effect in Nalgonda district after being announced by the CEC for the upcoming parliamentary elections. There are a total of 1,766 polling centers in the district, with plans for additional auxiliary and special polling centers, as well as centers managed by women, youth, and PWDs.

Out of the 14.9 lakh voters in the district, there are 7.35 lakh male voters and 7.54 lakh female voters, with 52,000 new voters registered. The election expenditure will be counted from Sunday onwards, and rallies and meetings must have prior permission to be held.

SST and VST teams have been formed to ensure proper conduct of the elections. Political parties and citizens are urged to cooperate for a healthy election environment. Complaints related to the elections should be reported to 1950 through C-whistle, and nodal teams have been set up to enforce the election code of conduct.

The District SP emphasized the need for full cooperation with the police for smooth conduct of the elections. Inspections will be increased, and the C-Whistle app should be used for reporting issues. Prior permission is required for meetings and rallies through Suvidha.

During the election period, anyone carrying more than 50,000 cash must have supporting documents. Various officials like DRO D Rajyalakshmi, Special Collector Nataraj, DPRO U Venkateshwarlu, DSO Venkateshwarlu, DIC GM Koteshwar Rao were present at the media meet to discuss election preparations.
