Khanapur: On Saturday, local MLA Vedma Bojju Patel submitted requests to the State Tribal Welfare Secretary Sarath Kumar and Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultaniya in Hyderabad. He asked for the quick release of pending bills totaling Rs 16,43,87,000. This amount is for the construction of houses by PVTGs like Kolam, Thotilu, Chenchulu, and Kondaredlu under ITDA CCDP in the combined Adilabad district.
During the meeting, the MLA explained that the PVTGs had taken loans to build these houses and urgently needed the funds. In response, Kumar and Sultaniya assured that they would strive to have the funds sanctioned within a month.
