Before the exam, District Collector K Shashanka visited several centers to inspect the arrangements made for the Group-I Main exams, which began on Monday and will continue until October 27.

Officials reminded candidates to arrive at the exam center between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm, as latecomers would not be allowed to enter.

Authorities also instructed the staff to check hall tickets carefully to prevent impersonation. Xerox centers near the exam venues were closed as a precaution.
