Abdullapurmet Arrest: Hyderabad Police Apprehend Chain Snatcher

In Hyderabad, there has been a rise in chain snatching incidents, causing fear among women. Recently, the Abdullapurmet police apprehended a chain snatcher and confiscated a three-tola gold chain and a bike. The suspect, V Shiva Kumar (29), who works as a financier from Yadadri-Bhongir, targeted women walking alone in residential areas. He would offer to drop them off at their destination and then rob them of their gold ornaments. On Friday, he snatched a gold chain from a woman named Balamma in Abdullapurmet using the same method. Balamma filed a complaint, leading to an investigation and the subsequent arrest of the suspect.
