Gadwal has begun important infrastructure upgrades in the Alampur area. These improvements include fixing bridge culverts and restoring blacktop roads to enhance public transport and safety. The project, backed by MLA Sri Vijayudu and the MLC, has a budget of ₹3.5 crore.
The work focuses on repairing worn-out bridge culverts near the Dargah area on the Aiza–Kurnool road within Aiza Municipality limits. It also includes renewing 6 kilometers of BT road that had deteriorated due to long-term use and poor upkeep.
During a site visit, MLA Vijayudu highlighted concerns about the current state of the culverts and roads. He noted that the damaged infrastructure could disrupt heavy vehicle movement and daily commuting. He stressed the need for quick completion and instructed the R&B Department officials—AE Altaf, DE Subhash, and contractor Nagayya Naidu—to ensure the repairs are done swiftly and with quality.
“The bridge culverts are in critical condition and need immediate attention to avoid risks to public safety and transport,” said MLA Vijayudu. He urged the efficient use of funds to make the road fully operational soon.
The inspection also included various BRS Party leaders and local representatives like Sankapuram Ramudu, Mala Narasimhulu, Maddileti, Chinna Ramudu, Bhadraiah, Nesh Venkatesh, and other party leaders.
The start of these infrastructure projects is a major improvement for road connectivity and public convenience in the Alampur area. Residents and travelers will benefit from the enhanced transport efficiency and safety.
