Amit Shah voices strong disapproval of police action against Kishan Reddy

The saffron party’s protest against unemployment problems in Hyderabad has caused tension. Telangana BJP chief and Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s initiation was disrupted by the police near Indira park. Later, Kishan Reddy was taken to the party office where he continues the initiation.

Amit Shah called Kishan Reddy to inquire about the agitation and arrests made by the police. Telangana BJP is planning protests in the district and mandal centers on Thursday in response to Kishan Reddy’s agitation. BJP has called for a bandh against the Telangana government.

Kishan Reddy held a 24-hour fast at Indirapark Dharna Chowk, claiming that the KCR government had failed the unemployed in nine years. The police advised him that initiation was allowed until 6 pm on Wednesday and he should leave the camp immediately.

Kishan Reddy stated that he would continue the initiation until 6 am on Thursday, so the police tried to disrupt it. He sustained minor injuries during his detention, with his hands and chest being hurt. He later fell unconscious and doctors recommended an X-ray for his chest wounds. Amit Shah spoke to him after he collapsed.

A large number of activists showed their support to Kishan Reddy at the BJP party office. It appears that Kishan Reddy will undergo tests at the hospital after completing the 24-hour initiation.
