Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has been active this year, registering 126 cases and arresting 125 public officials. They seized ₹24,57,000 in bribe-related incidents and discovered assets worth ₹27,66,60,526 in various departments.
The cases include 80 traps, 8 disproportionate assets, 14 criminal misconducts, 10 regular inquiries, 11 surprise checks, and 3 discreet inquiries.
In June, ACB registered 31 cases. These comprised 15 traps, 2 disproportionate asset cases, 3 criminal misconduct cases, 4 regular inquiries, and 7 surprise checks. They arrested 25 public servants, including two private individuals, and recovered ₹3,43,500 in these operations. They found disproportionate assets worth ₹13,50,000 and ₹5,22,75,000.
Surprise checks at RTA check posts and sub-registrar offices led to the seizure of ₹2,72,030.
In June alone, ACB concluded 11 cases, submitting final reports to the government. Throughout the first half of the year, they completed 129 cases.
