In Karimnagar, more young people are choosing new engineering courses instead of traditional ones like Mechanical, IT, and Civil Engineering. Technology is advancing rapidly, leading to the creation of new courses that align with current job opportunities.

There are now 12 engineering colleges in the combined Karimnagar district, with both private and government options available. Last year, over 10,000 students enrolled in these programs. This year, 18,125 students passed their Intermediate exams, with 6,000 taking the TGEAPCET (EAMCET).

Specific courses have been introduced to cater to local industries, such as Textiles Engineering in Sircilla and Mining Engineering in the Singareni region. Private colleges are also focusing on AI-related courses like AIML and adding computer-based options to traditional CSE programs.
