The upcoming Ram temple in Ayodhya and Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple in Telangana have something in common. Anuradha Timber International, based in Hyderabad, has converted a massive 1000-year-old teak log into a unique carving of Adishesha Sayana Sri Maha Vishnu. They are also involved in crafting around 118 doors for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Ch Sarath Babu, the Managing Partner of Anuradha Timber International, explained that they feel honored to be part of such a prestigious project. They were selected by Ayodhya Temple Trust, along with Larsen and Toubro and Tata Consultancy Services, to craft the doors for the temple. They set up a workshop in Ayodhya in June of this year and with the help of 60 artisans, they have almost completed the doors.

The doors are designed in the Nagari style by Sompura, the master architect for the temple. The door of the Garbhagriha (Sanctum Sanctorum) has a peacock carving and is foldable, measuring 8 feet in height and 12 feet in width. The rest of the doors feature carvings of elephants, peacocks, and various gods and goddesses. Out of the 118 doors, 18 installed inside the temple are gold plated. All the carving work is done by hand. The carving of the doors for the inside of the temple has been completed in three phases. The remaining door frames and a few more doors for the second and third floors of the temple are still in progress and will take one more year to complete.

Anuradha Timber International has been in the business for three generations and has carved all the doors for the Ram temple quickly without compromising on quality. They have also recently transformed a 1000-year-old teak log into a carving of Adishesha Sayana Sri Maha Vishnu for the Yadadri temple in Telangana. They attribute this opportunity to the blessings of Lord Narasimha.
