Mahabubnagar/Gadwal: DK Aruna, a BJP National Vice President and Mahabubnagar MP, promised to address the merging of Gadwal with Nagarkurnool Parliament after its separation. She called this a political mistake rooted in rivalry.
Aruna pledged to bring Gadwal back under Mahabubnagar Parliament in the next reorganization. She committed to visiting Gadwal every 15 days to monitor projects and restart development in the area.
At the Guru Vandana event hosted by the Telangana Private Teachers’ Union at Ananta Convention Hall, Aruna expressed concern over Gadwal’s decline. Once a model for growth, it now suffers due to neglect by past governments. She criticized the Congress and BRS for Gadwal’s backwardness, noting that significant progress was only made during her time as MLA.
Aruna highlighted the region’s poor infrastructure, mentioning roads filled with potholes and a lack of basic services. “As a daughter of this region, I can’t stay silent. I’ll visit every 15 days to restart stalled projects and restore Gadwal’s former glory,” she stated, assuring the people of Nadigadda.
