    Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, and Nita Ambani, the founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, attended a State dinner at the White House with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tech executives Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella were also present. The dinner was held to honor PM Modi’s State visit to the US, which was deemed “historic” by Mukesh Ambani.

    The Bidens invited 400 guests to the State dinner, including Indra Nooyi, Anand Mahindra, Nikhil Kamath, Antony Blinken, Eric Garcetti, Kevin McCarthy, Tim Cook, Shantanu Narayen, and Gina Raimondo. A State dinner is a special event hosted by US presidents to celebrate a visiting head of state or monarch. It is an opportunity for the president to meet with leaders from friendly nations.

    President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden hosted the State dinner for PM Modi on June 22. This event recognizes India’s growing importance as an ally of the United States. President Biden has only hosted such a dinner for the presidents of France and South Korea in the past, highlighting the significance of this occasion.
