Hyderabad: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Picket recently conducted an awareness programme to educate students, teachers, and parents about important laws related to safety and protection. The focus was on the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace) and the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences).
As part of the event, advocate A. Srinivasa Rao spoke about the legal measures outlined in the POSH Act to prevent and handle workplace harassment. He also explained the significance of the POCSO Act in ensuring the safety of children and protecting them from sexual offences.
To help everyone understand these laws better, real-life case studies were shared during the session. The event also included interactive discussions, making it more engaging and helping participants gain clarity on these important topics.
