Hyderabad: Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, has asked the Jubilee Hills Division’s Assistant Commissioner of Police to change the date for recording statements connected to Crime No. 243/2024.

In a letter sent on Wednesday, he mentioned that this case involves several serious charges, including criminal breach of trust and tampering with electronic records, under the Indian Penal Code, PDPP Act, and Information Technology Act.

The minister’s office explained that he, along with his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Personal Assistants, will be busy attending the Parliament Monsoon Sessions in New Delhi starting July 21, 2025. This schedule makes it hard for them to attend the examination initially set for July 24.

As a solution, he suggested rescheduling the statement recording to July 28, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
