Hyderabad: On Wednesday, a special health camp began at Krishna Kanth Park in Yousufguda for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) workers, employees, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). District in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar opened the event.

Hyderabad district collector Dasari Harichandana, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, and GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan joined the Minister. Many GHMC workers attended for medical check-ups and screenings. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar handed out health kits to the workers. He announced that similar health camps will be held throughout Hyderabad under GHMC’s supervision.

The initiative follows orders from Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, aiming to provide people with medical tests without needing a hospital visit. The camps focus on the health and well-being of those who work in Hyderabad daily, with support from district revenue, municipal, and medical teams.
