Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his bold decisions and unwavering courage in matters of patriotism. He highlighted Modi’s action on Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the abrogation of Article 370 as a declaration of the region being an integral part of India.
The minister spoke at the Delhi Defence Academy’s ‘Freshers’ Day’ event on Sunday. He defended the ‘Agni Path’ scheme introduced by the central government, claiming that it was a beneficial initiative. However, he accused opposition parties of misleading students for their own gain. Bandi assured that any issues within the scheme would be addressed by the government and advised students not to be influenced by the opposition.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar commended the students of the academy for their choice to join the defence sector, acknowledging their commitment to serving in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He emphasized that working in these sectors is a form of patriotism and praised the academy’s management for instilling values of patriotism, discipline, and morality among the students.
He noted the significant achievement of the academy, with nearly 2,000 students being selected for defence jobs in the Army, Navy, and Air Force over the past seven years. Bandi expressed his best wishes to the young students who have joined the training academy, recognizing their hard work and ambition to secure jobs with Tenth and Intermediate qualifications.
The minister also lauded the parents for encouraging their children to serve the nation, stating that army personnel are the real heroes and an inspiration. He urged all students to complete their training and strive to achieve their goals.
