Mancherial: Health Director Ravinder Naik has emphasized the need for effective time management among doctors and medical staff in the district. This comes in response to the rising spread of diseases linked to climate change.
During a recent review meeting, Dr. Naik discussed his visit to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Naspur and the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) in Deepaknagar, Mandamarri. He encouraged doctors to build strong relationships with patients, earn their trust, and deliver medical services with empathy.
Dr. Naik proposed organizing medical camps in areas most affected by health issues. He also stressed the importance of awareness campaigns to educate the public about hygiene and health protection. He particularly advocated for conducting these programs in schools, colleges, villages, and within IKP groups to inform people about diseases transmitted through mosquitoes and contaminated water.
The meeting included several key officials and professionals, such as District Medical and Health Officer Dr. Harish Raj, project officers Dr. Seetaramaraju, Dr. Anitha, Dr. Fayaz Khan, Dr. Sucharitha, Dr. Shivaprathap, and Dr. Manasa. Additionally, DM&HO office Superintendent Vishweshwar Reddy, District Education and Media Officer Bhukya Venkateshwarlu, DPMO Prashanthi, medical staff, and ASHA workers were present.
