    Betting App Controversy: Man Alleges ₹83 Lakhs Loss After Watching Balakrishna’s Unstoppable Show

    The betting app controversy is causing a stir in Tollywood. It all began with YouTubers promoting betting apps, but now even film stars are getting involved. Authorities have filed cases against 25 YouTubers and celebrities, including actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Manchu Lakshmi, Rana Daggubati, and Prakash Raj.

    Recently, a well-known OTT platform has also been drawn into the issue. The controversy grew after the Fun88 betting app was promoted on the Unstoppable show, which is streamed on Aha. This show is hosted by popular actor Balakrishna.

    A man has now come forward, claiming he lost ₹83 lakhs after downloading the Fun88 app due to its promotion on the show.

    According to the victim, he initially invested ₹10,000 and won ₹18,000. Encouraged by his success, he continued playing and eventually made ₹3 lakhs, which he used to clear some debts. However, as he kept betting, he started losing money. To continue playing, he borrowed from relatives and eventually lost ₹83 lakhs.

    Overwhelmed by his financial losses, he reportedly left his village to escape the debt. It remains to be seen how the police will handle the situation.
