Bhaskar Law College in Telangana kicked off its new academic year with an exciting orientation ceremony for incoming students. The college operates under Osmania University and holds approval from the Bar Council of India.
The institution has transformed dramatically over the years. What started as a small, distant college has now become a leading center for law education in the region.
Students can choose from several degree options at the college. The three-year LLB program serves working professionals and graduates. The popular five-year BA LLB course offers 240 seats for students straight from high school. Advanced learners can pursue LLM degrees specializing in Corporate Law or Constitutional Law.
Justice Gopal Reddy attended as the main speaker at the orientation. He serves as Chairman of the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee. Justice Reddy spoke passionately about the legal profession’s importance in society.
He told new students that becoming a lawyer requires three key qualities: sharp thinking, honest character, and deep compassion for others. The judge explained how laws protect fairness and keep democratic societies running smoothly.
Krishna Rao, who works as JBES Secretary, shared valuable advice with the students. He stressed that successful lawyers must learn far more than what books teach. Building strong ethics, respecting different viewpoints, and maintaining professional standards matter just as much as memorizing legal concepts.
Dr ER Jayaram also addressed the gathering as a special guest. He leads the School of Law at Mahendra University. Dr Jayaram encouraged students to stay curious throughout their legal careers and never lose sight of their duty to fight for justice.
Professor Ch Sanjay directs JBES and praised everyone who made the orientation successful. He thanked faculty members who coordinated the event and student volunteers who helped with arrangements.
The ceremony brought together principals, teachers, and students from various colleges within the JB Group. The event marked an important milestone for new law students beginning their journey toward legal careers.
