A team at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus has created two innovative systems to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India improve their manufacturing processes. These systems, named Mach-Sevak and Mach-Nirikshak, were developed under their startup Yantraayush.

Yantraayush was co-founded by Prof. Sabareesh G R and Prof. Radhika S from the Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments. The team also includes Dr. Inturi Vamsi, Dr. Hemanth Mithun Praveen, Mr. P. Anbumani, Mr. Akashjyoti Barman, and Mr. Himanshu Shukla. The startup is based at BITS Pilani Hyderabad and receives support from the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and the BioCyTIH Foundation.

Many MSMEs struggle with accessing advanced manufacturing tools and often rely on manual checks, which can lead to downtime and costly repairs. Yantraayush aims to solve this by providing affordable and scalable solutions to monitor machines in real time.

The startup offers two products. Mach-Sevak is designed for smaller operations, providing real-time monitoring for similar types of machines. It quickly identifies issues and is easy to install and use without needing expert staff.

Mach-Nirikshak is suitable for businesses with diverse equipment like pumps and motors. It monitors different machines simultaneously, supports advanced data analysis, and can integrate with AI tools. Its flexible design lets companies adapt the system as they grow.

Both systems were completely developed at BITS Pilani Hyderabad with help from faculty, researchers, and students. They have been tested in simulated industrial environments on campus. These systems use sensor data to monitor machine behavior, helping detect problems early.

Yantraayush is dedicated to local innovation, aligning with initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Their systems use locally sourced parts and research, offering an affordable alternative to imported technologies.

As the MSME sector in India continues to advance, tools like Mach-Sevak and Mach-Nirikshak can help reduce downtime and improve productivity. The team plans to add features like predictive maintenance, cloud connectivity, and automated alerts, allowing businesses to make informed decisions with minimal cost.

Yantraayush is looking for partnerships to expand and implement their technology in industries that can benefit most.
